Bayley Casell's Bespoke Fabric

Textiles G.C.S.E time is almost upon us and there are some exciting things going on in my classroom. Whilst this is an undoubtedly stressful time for the year 11 students, it is also the time they can really let their creativity shine. We have peacock inspired headdresses, Gucci inspired embellished tiger jackets, unicorn bags and a mandala inspired clutch. Year 11 student Bayley Cassell has been working on a fantastic design for a clutch bag. Here is a design she drew and coloured, scanned into the computer, edited via photoshop and printed onto fabric. Bayley will be transforming this beautiful bespoke fabric into a clutch bag, complete with tassells, a zip and embellished sample work. I can't wait to see the results in two weeks time.
